How are you living life?
I was challenged to think about this after watching NewSpring’s Unleashed Conferences from the past few years. In 2008’s Session 2 Perry Noble talks about how pastors, and I would say ministry leaders, go about life. You will always fall into one area on this scale…
You fall into the Ministry Zone if:
You are excited and eager about what you are doing…
You “get” to do your ministry…
You are thriving spiritually…
You are connected with family
You fall into the Drained Zone if:
You always feel frustrated…
You always feel stressed…
You always feel tired…
You are always trying to keep the plates spinning…
You keep saying, “One day, it’s all gonna get better!”…
You fall into the Danger Zone if:
You are failing spiritually…
You are failing morally…
You are in denial…
You are about to blow up your life!
Pastors, Youth Pastors, Worship Leaders, Any & ALL Ministry Leaders, it is time to honestly ask God, “Where am I on this scale?” Then, determine what God would have you do about it. If you are in the Ministry Zone, how can you stay there? If you are in the Drained or Danger Zone, what do you need to do to move up the scale?
