The Lord used these passages to lead me last week, and I again had to wait a few days to post. So, here it is.
Psalm 27:1
“The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread?”
When you are standing there, dreading what God has for you to do, what are you waiting for? Who are you afraid of? What is keeping you from trusting? Bottom line: your fear.
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
As Christians, we are not to live in fear; rather, actively empowered, and with clear direction from the LORD!
If God told you to go jump off a cliff, would you do it?
What’s to lose? Your fear? (my response to God on that, “Yes, please?!”) Believe. God has you in His unfolding plan. Bring on the adventure!

Wow.
Jenny & I had a late lunch there today (both of us had their Monte Cristo), and it was delicious! Well worth the long wait on a busy weekend to get in. Now, I just want to go back for some fried chicken and bread pudding, because apparently they’ve got the best in Ft. Worth. It was such a simple atmosphere, yet such delectable morsels…I literally licked the powdered sugar and fried batter crumbs off the plate! 😀
Yet another link to them below!
Hope you’ll come back again and try the fried chicken & bread pudding; those are actually my favorite entree & dessert! Thanks for the post and review.

I definitely want to–it’s on my list! 😀
